Situated on a headland commanding panoramic views, a pinnacle of the vacation experience is the adult-oriented and ultra-opulent Al Husn. Deluxe rooms, which are amongst the largest in Oman, feature lavish décor inspired by royal Arabian palaces and come complete with balconies or terraces from which to admire the views of the courtyard and pool; deluxe sea view rooms open up entrancing panoramas of the Gulf of Oman from their furnished balconies. Culinary experiences, accessible only to Al Husn guests, include a beach grill serving fresh seafood from the Gulf, as well as private dining experiences such as cliff dining and romantic beach set-ups. Guests also enjoy complimentary afternoon tea, pre-dinner cocktails, canapes and minibar. The private and secluded 100 metre beach and infinity pool are reserved for the exclusive use of guests Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa, while access to the myriad of facilities at the Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa allow for a change of scenery.
Oman experiences high temperatures throughout the year with minimal rainfall. The best time to visit is between October and March when it is cooler. During the summer months temperatures rise considerably, whilst hotel rates are at their lowest and offers are most attractive.
