Ranked by Conde Nast, Wall Street Journal and many other leading voices in international travel as one of Europe’s top ten chalet destinations, Chalet Spa lies along a private road just steps from Verbier’s Savoleyres lift station. Massive timbers and mountain stone define subtly lit interiors which exude a laid-back ambience – a living room with a designer suspended chimney centre piece and each of the five individual en suite bedooms featuring handmade furnishings. An iPad control system allows guests to adjust heating, lighting and technology and the Deluxe Penthouse Master Suite has a Jacuzzi, grand fireplace, private terrace and epic Alpine views. The spa too has an outdoor Jacuzzi, set on the covered terrace, along with an open-air Canadian cedar wood hot tub, hammam with eucalyptus feed and a designer infinity swimming pool with a huge picture window. The pool converts into a water polo court; other recreations encompass children’s games and film-going in the blu-ray, high definition private cinema with minibar, a games room and working out in the well-equipped fitness zones.
The high altitude of the ski area means Verbier snow conditions are excellent throughout the season with an abundance of snow. Verbier is situated on a sunny plateau and offers incredible vistas of Mont-Blanc and the Combins massif.

This is very much a matter of personal preference. Christmas and New Year are very popular; Christmas in the snow is incredibly magical and the resort pulls out all of the stops for New Year’s Eve, with a bar and DJ in the central square from 4pm, a live concert at 10.30pm and fireworks at midnight. The weather can be very cold in January which makes for excellent snow conditions and a lot of people are returning to work and school making the slopes quiet. School holidays in February are very busy, so we recommend that you book in advance if you wish to travel in these dates. The sun begins to shine in March meaning longer days and April is the snowiest month of the season. In spring and summer, the resort offers an array of outdoor activities making it a perfect choice for any adrenaline junkie.
