Holiday Type / A Royal Visit

The royals have incredible travel opportunities with their worldwide public duties. Last week William and Kate started their tour of the Indian Subcontinent; they have enjoyed lunch with the Indian Prime Minister, taken an open-air safari at Kaziranga national park, visited an elephant sanctuary set up by Mark Shand, the late brother of the Duchess of Cornwall and discovered the secret kingdom of Bhutan, whilst conquering a six hour hike to Paro Taktsang, the Tiger's Nest monastery.

Though these tours are technically work, they're still an amazing opportunity to see the world, be immersed with other cultures and stay in some incredible places. We take a look at some of the fascinating destinations our Royal Family have visited across the globe.
