Carrier commits to an extensive educational programme each year covering an exciting range of destinations across all of our product areas. Each Carrier holiday is carefully planned by well-travelled consultants to suit individual requirements and this philosophy continues when organising educationals for our agents.
All of our trips are escorted by a Carrier group leader and, where possible, a member of our reservations staff. Itineraries are designed to enable you to experience all that your client would experience on their own holiday. You will receive a true insight into the countries that we feature and have the opportunity to sample the luxury properties that are synonymous with the Carrier name.
Information on the destinations for 2018 educationals will be posted here shortly.
Every year, demand for places on Carrier educationals is very high but we are happy to consider all applications. Support of Carrier in terms of revenue and bookings is also taken into consideration and invitations will be made to those agents whose revenue with Carrier is increasing but may not have applied previously for trips. Our educationals make a difference in being able to sell and talk about a particular destination, in addition they help build the relationship between agent and tour operator.
Travel agents throughout the UK view our trips as valuable training tools and are happy to invest both time and cost in order to benefit from them. Our educational visits all have a nominal cost to them. They are subsidised but we also incur costs from airlines, ground handlers and some hotels. The minimal cost of the visit should be considered a worthwhile investment in the training and development of a particular member of staff. Often participants will follow up a trip with a training session for the rest of the office.
