Indian Subcontinent, Far East & Australasia / Cambodia

Amongst many unforgettable sights, Cambodia is home to the incredible temples of Angkor. Rise before dawn to watch the sun rise over legendary Angkor Wat, and roam the mysterious stones of exquisite Ta Prohm where ancient jungle vines coil around the slumbering ruin. Take tea in a Khmer village house before exploring the noisy riverside bazaars of Siem Reap – a great place to haggle – and lose yourself in the chaotic yet charismatic capital city of Phnom Penh with its splendid riverfront and fine French colonial buildings. When the cities take their toll, it’s time for the white sand beaches and unspoilt landscapes of the Koh Rong archipelago; this little-known paradise is a haven for snorkelers and divers. To complete your itinerary, take a boat excursion to the floating villages of Tonle Sap or take a ride of a different kind through the jungle on the back of an elephant.
