Once a lodging house in the Civil War era, this balconied white-clapboard inn is bursting with history and character. Accommodation consists of nine eclectically furnished guest rooms and two suites, each individually designed and named with local connotations. “Ski” is a whimsical room choice for dedicated skiers featuring a range of ski memorabilia from vintage trail maps to an authentic lift ticket booth; the two-bedroom “Stable Suite” is ideal for families. Fine wines from the 500-bottle cellar are paired with the sophisticated farm-to-table dining at 275 Main, while Tracks tavern serves classic pub fare. There’s complimentary access to the nearby Sugarbush Health and Racquet Club with its lap pool and Jacuzzi together with free use of sleds and snowshoes, ideal for scenic exploration.
