Depart Yichang
This deluxe four night cruise begins in Yichang, where you'll embark on your journey along the Yangzi River towards the dramatic Three Gorges region.

Day /2
Three Gorges Dam Project, Yichang
After breakfast, arrive at the Three Gorges Dam Project and Exhibition Centre. The Three Gorges Dam Project was started in 1992 and completed in 2009; the dam will be the largest dam on Earth, at more than 1.2 miles in length and 600 feet in height. After viewing the dam, guests on the M.S Sanctuary Explorer will be taken on an exclusive visit to the exhibition centre. Return to the ship at midday where your journey concludes. (B)

Shennong Stream, Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge
In the morning, board a ferry to a local longboat (Sampan) poled by Tujia boatmen. In the afternoon, the ship will enter Qutang Gorge, before journeying ahead through to the Wu Gorge - known for its twelve famous peaks, including the Goddess Peak. In the evening, entertainment and dining comes in the form of an a la carte dinner and a crew variety show.
Day /4
Fengdu
Start your morning with traditional Chinese exercise from the certified Tai Chi Master, followed by a buffet breakfast. After food, the cruise will stop at Fengdu. Opt to the visit the ghost temple, where the Chinese believe the souls would gather after they passed away, or alternatively, explore life of the Yangtze River by visiting a local village that provides a unique glimpse into one of China's remote communities. Later, learn to make dumplings with the help of a lead chef.
