Sigiriya
Travel to Sigiriya for a stay at Water Garden Sigiriya. From here, climb the near-vertical walls, passing remarkable frescoes and carvings, to discover the ruins of an ancient civilisation and enjoy the breathtaking views. Best viewed in the early morning when the forests, water gardens and shrines are shrouded in mist. (B)

Sigiriya
This morning discover the ancient city of Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site just 35 kilometres away you can admire the mystical array of huge dagobas, crumbling temples, monasteries and sacred Bodhi Trees before the drive to Sigiriya with two nights at Jetwing Vil Uyana. The following days sightseeing includes a climb up Sigiriya Rock. (B)

Kandy
Depart Sigiriya for Kandy, visiting Dambulla Cave Temple en route. Accommodation for the next two nights is at Clingendael. The following day is at leisure to enjoy the facilities and beautiful setting before embarking on an evening tour including Kandy Lake and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. (B)
