Think of the must-see sights in Australia and this independent tour captures them all. It begins with the opportunity to experience the youthful, energetic ambiance of Sydney on a full city tour. The magnificent outdoors of this vast land is then yours to explore; the luscious Blue Mountains and the tropical natural wonders of North Queensland are truly enchanting. Your self-drive begins en route to the boutique beach village of Palm Cove, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Contrast this with the fertile rainforest of the Daintree before flying into the remote Red Centre outback to experience the colossal monolith of Uluru, renowned for its kaleidescope of colours.

On arrival at Sydney Airport you will be met and transferred by private car to the Park Hyatt Sydney for a three night stay in a City Harbour Room. (B)
Park Hyatt SydneyJoin a small group for an escorted sightseeing tour of Sydney. Travel through the historic Rocks area; witness the birth place of Sydney and explore the convict built cottages, pubs and first church in Australia. Cross the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of Australia's most recognised landmarks before heading through the leafy northern suburbs to the seaside town of Manly. A visit to the botanical gardens, Parliament House and Hyde Park Barracks is also included. After lunch return to the city passing through some of Sydney's famous beachside locations. Day four is yours to spend at leisure.(B)
Depart Sydney and transfer by private car to the Blue Mountains. Ninety minutes west of Sydney lies the World Heritage Wilderness of the Blue Mountains National Park. Its dramatic sandstone cliffs, thundering waterfalls and eucalyptus forested gorges invite bushwalkers to magnificent, breathtaking scenery. Spend two nights in a Deluxe King Valley View room at Lilianfels Blue Mountains. (B)
Lilianfels Resort & SpaJoin a small escorted group for a half day walking tour through the Blue Mountains National Park. The walk commences at the famous Six Foot Track, via woodland and rainforest that has made this track legendary for over 110 years. Your guide will point out interesting landmarks and also the importance of preserving this natural environment. The walk ends at Cliff Drive, a short distance from Katoomba where you will be transferred back to Lilianfels. (B)
Transfer to Orpheus Island Lodge for a three night stay. Spend the following two days at leisure in resort swimming in the oceanfront infinity pool, or venture out in a motorised dinghy to explore neighbouring islands and hidden beaches. Diving and snorkeling are particularly spectacular here, with the principal dive sites boasting 1,100 of the 1,500 species of fish on the reef. (B)
