Flamboyant, extravagant and simply unmissable, Las Vegas is a monumental amusement centre crammed with colourful casino's, swish shopping malls, top-name shows and innumerable restaurants. Strolling down the strip is like taking a world tour, passing the Eiffel Tower, the canals of Venice and New York skycrapers. Take a ride on the world’s highest rollercoaster, 1.100 feet at the top of the Stratosphere Tower. Its skiing area comprises some of the most challenging slopes on the continent, whilst golfers can play year-round. Leave Canyon Point in Utah and head to Sedona, drive via Horseshoe Bend and Monument Valley. One of the most photographed landmarks in the United States, Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park is a sprawling, sandy reserve situation in between Arizona and Utah. Boasting magnificent crimson red sandstone towers with heights of 1,000 feet. Visit the Four Corners Monument, the only place in the United States where four states intersect at one point,; step back in time and capture a glimpse of Arizona’s two largest ruins – Betatakin and Keit Seel and see how ancient ones lived more than 900 years ago. Continue the journey to Scottsdale. Arizona’s largest city brims with great shopping, from Mexican goods to excellent jewellery stores, and offers a vibrant arts scene with many galleries and craft centres. Diners will not be disappointed with the steakhouse-to-seafood grill diversity of restaurants and welcoming cafes. For adventure, lift off over the Sonoran Desert in a hot air balloon above the towering saguaro cacti and the distant ribbon of the Colorado River.
