Fly to Charlotte and on arrival collect your hire car and drive to The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte for a 2 night stay. Famed for being the largest city in North Carolina, Charlotte offers visitors a wealth of activities and attractions – and it’s still expanding. Be sure to visit the Levine Museum of The New South, the Mint Museum of Art and the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Adrenalin seekers can experience life in the fast lane at the Charlotte Motor Speedway or visit the U.S. White-water Centre and raft the world’s largest man-made white-water river. Named as one of the nations '20 Great Gardens', a visit to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Gaston County is highly recommended. (RO)

Asheville
